Let The Light In Pixie Duster (Cropped Length)
Inspired by Leonard Cohen's timeless words—"There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in"—this pixie duster celebrates the beauty of imperfection and the strength found in our lived experiences.
Crafted from authentic Delft tiles dating to the 1700s, featuring two elaborate Italianate landscape scenes, this design intentionally preserves the original cracks and subtle imperfections of the ceramic.
Just as patina tells a story, so do the marks life leaves on us—reminders of resilience and growth. The trim patterns draw from two historical sources: an 1867 British classical ornamentation book and a hand-painted 1780 Dutch earthenware plaque.
The sleeve features a delicate ginger jar motif from an 18th-century French watercolor painting.
In cropped length, this piece layers beautifully over tees and tanks, blending wearable art with meaningful symbolism.
